I’ll put the blame on Microsoft Windows for my recent absence from the blog. Not only was I unable to post new entries on the blog, I couldn’t approve other posts as well. After a son of a gun managed to get my Windows Vista Ultimate registry corrupted on my laptop I had not other option but to re-install the operating system all over again. That’s when the dark forces of Microsoft took over my system and it went down like anything. After endless hours of formatting, installing and re-installing Windows on my laptop I have finally managed to get on to something stable.
Microsoft has always duped people with buggy software and that’s no rocket science. I believe a good operating system must include anti-virus, effective personal firewall (the one in Windows doesn’t work at all) and other essential software by default. If I’m paying a bomb for an operating system I need to have the basic things in it. I’ll just need to be extra careful from now on and maintain a basic back-up of the system at all times.
PS: I’m using Microsoft Windows because none of the major Linux distros support my Lenovo.
