Now that Google’s Nexus One is finally out in the wild it’s time to speculate on the launch date. Google’s employees have had the Nexus One for quite some time now and the phone is believed to be in final testing stages. The Googlers have been told not to divulge in any specific details however their joy has been noticed by everyone on Twitter.
Rumors have it that Nexus One could possibly launch as early as 5th January 2010. There’s also a discussion on availability pre-orders but , founder of MoDaCo, has denied it openly on Twitter. He has also said that the device would be simultaneously available in US and Europe by 5th Jan next year. If it’s true it could mean Google wants to start off the new year by generating heat in the smartphone market. Global availability of Nexus One is still far away to talk about but since Google is keen on selling an unlocked version of Nexus One, one could simply buy from anywhere.
As of now I’ll keep my eyes and ears open for further news and confirmation. I’ll keep you guys posted here!
