Good news for BSNL Broadband users! BSNL has doubled the bandwidth on three unlimited home plan tariff cards. This includes Home UL 750, Home Combo UL 750 and Home Combo UL 1350. The news confirms previous rumors that the state owned enterprise was all set to sugar coat it’s unlimited broadband plans for users.
BSNL has upgraded both the UL 750 plans from 256kbps to 512Mbps. Also it has upgraded the UL1350 plan to a juicy 2 Mbps upto 15 GB and 512 Kbps beyond 15 GB. That’s pretty inviting!
The movie follows stiff competition from private broadband service providers like Airtel, Reliance and Tata Indicom broadband. Airtel Broadband had recently doubled the bandwidth on some unlimited broadband plans while introducing new 4Mbps plans (with that trademark cap). BSNL doesn’t mention FUP changes or application on the new plan upgrades. These are effective June 1 2010 with immediate effect.
