Finally got my Airtel Broadband connection re-connected last night. The connection was working with the previous username/password but still one of their executives insisted on coming over and checking things out. It was surprising indeed as it was way past 9:30 PM. So this dude comes in and asks me which browser I am using. He seemed just too surprised. It was Google Crome. I opened up Mozilla Firefox for him and he still didn’t recognize it. Dude are you alien or what? And he insisted I give him Internet Explorer. I said fine. Then he loaded a crappy little Airtel NetXpert software saying it’s supposed to keep your system ‘secure’. I didn’t argue with him and let him do whatever he had planned to. The moment he left I uninstalled the program. I guess Airtel hires cheap. This dude got stuck with Internet Explorer and he had to call his ‘boss’. Ah!
