Now that the promo for the Aamir Khan starrer 3 Idiots is finally out, I expect Aamir to pull out some more stunts from his pocket and throw it at the public. The recent Facebook ‘Pucca Idiot’ may not have gone too far but you never know when it’s Aamir Khan. I don’t care if you start smoking again Aamir or call another actor an animal, I want this one to be worth the multiplex moolah.

The promo looks slick even though it lacks the Munnabhai touch to it but then Aamir is not another Munnabhai and 3 Idiots is the most anticipated film of the year. The film hits theaters worldwide on December 25. That’s a lot of time. For now I’ll keep an ear on the soundtrack release.

kambakkht ishqKambakkht Akshay

Akshay Kumar is known to be one of the most well paid actors in Bollywood. He’s had a fair luck with his recent flicks at the box office. It’s obvious to include him in a movie, even if it’s just to inflate the hype balloon. The trick worked for Kambakkht Ishq. Sadly Akshay failed to deliver when it came to performance. He appears so worn out throughout the movie, it’s just too irritating to watch him try and play this bad boy character. He fails miserably be it comedy or romance. The stunts are textbook Khildadi stuff.

Kambakkht Bebo…err..Kareena

Kareena! I really hope she marries Saif soon. Not that I’m supportive of their relationship, it’s just that I wish she quits acting after she’s married Saif. Bebo! Bebo! Pathetic is just an understatement if I have to say anything about Kareena’s role in Kambakkht Ishq. The character she plays in the flick is somewhat exactly like her. A surgeon who wears a freak watch to an operation theater and somehow places it accidentally into Akshay’s tummy. Saif, you better watch what you eat dude!

It’s probably the first time I’ve gone in, expecting zilch and coming out so damn happy with a Bollywood flick. This is film making [...]

Movie Review: Oye Lucky..Lucky Oye!

I simply loved watching this movie! Abhay Deol didn’t seem to spoil it the way I thought he always does. If you loved Khosla Ka Ghosla, you’ll love this even more. Enjoyable, no nonsense and comedy worth the money! The music is great as well.

Movie Review: Burn After Reading

November 9, 2008

This was ‘Wow’! Certainly after Quantum of Solace bombed my brain, this was a major relief. Intelligent film making as expected from Coen Borthers. Great performances by everyone. A must watch if you really want to lighten things up in life and especially if you have killer exams approaching!
