Disappointing. Boring. Highly irritating. If you are still keen on going ahead and checking out a review of the movie Rab Ne Bana i Jodi, read on. Aaditya Chopra did have an interesting concept and a flashy banner to provide the platform for the hype. He managed to rope in Shah Rukh. He managed to get the music right. He screwed it up with the script. He spoiled an interesting concept. I’m surprised a person like him screwing things up.
The audience is once again taken for granted and made to chew on the fact that a wife cannot recognize her husband without a mustache. I understand love happens at the drop of a hat in Bollywood but here love happens just for the heck of it. Anushka, the actress, needs to get some acting lessons. The only positive thing apart from the music is Vinay’s performance. I say put him into Shah Rukh’s role the next time and you increase your chances of surviving.
The film is getting mixed response at the box-office. Take my word, save that multiplex moolah for something better this Christmas and New Year.
I’ll still scratch my head and ask, Rab ji…Aaditya ne kyun bana di yeh movie?
