Looking to get your Twitter account verified? Well it doesn’t help if you’re not a celebrity or a big company out there. If you are a normal person like me (I’m more like sub-normal) then you need to find your own ways to getting your Twitter account verified. How to get there? Here are some suggestions.
1. Write your Twitter user name on a card. Flash this card in front of the mirror and click a photograph of yourself. Make sure you don’t make the mistake the person in the photograph above committed. You’ll have to wear clothes so that your Twitter id gets more attention.
2. Scribble your Twitter @username on your cool favorite t-shirt and wear it to college or work. While talking to your colleagues make sure they see your username properly. Now they’ll know it’s really you! Also make sure that special girl in the classroom gets to see your t-shirt. You’ll want her to follow you so you can DM her your private fantasies (although I highly advise against it).
3. Now this is a risky one and only recommended for those with extra meat balls. Write your Twitter profile URL (http://twitter.com/username) followed by your real name on the college notice board or the company whiteboard. Make sure you use a really bold marker. If you have the guts then do make use of a permanent marker. After all your Twitter account needs permanent verification.
4. While filling out your finals answer sheet at college writing a report at work make sure you enter your Twitter username along with your name. Now that’s making it all official! Your Twitter profile has been verified.
5. Print multiple copes of A4 sized sheets with your Twitter username, your full address and cell phone number. Wake up early and insert one copy of this print out along with a copy of your driver’s license into everyone’s newspapers lying outside their doors. Now that’s smart advertising so it’ll get you more followers and also verifies your profile.
