5 reasons why I hate Indian Idol 4?

++ Our country is full of wanna be singers. We can run out of petrol, LPG, electricity and cry all the time about rising inflation but we can never run out of singers. It’s been three seasons already and lakhs if not thousands of people have tried their luck at singing. Most of them have been rejected and we still see thousands in the queue for auditions.

++ We all love to hate Anu Malik. This guy is a jackass! I really feel he’s trying to copy Simon Cowell and he keeps on getting worse every season. Why the heck is he on TV anyways? He’s a shit load of a music composer. Why can’t Sony afford A.R Rahman?

++ If Anu Malik was intolerable Sonali Bendre is just double of what he is. Why in this God’s green earth is Sonali a judge for a show looking for singers. She didn’t sing ever in her life as far as my memory goes. She apparently acted in a few movies which was no decent effort. Someone get her off Indian Idol 4 please!

++ I hate it when people cry on reality TV! Seriously it gets the worse out of me. I feel there’s no reason why people should create a scene just to get noticed and feature on national television. But then that’s the sole reason that they’re there in the first place!

++ Personally the show doesn’t make sense to me. I think a singer just doesn’t fit into the title of Indian Idol. It just doesn’t make sense.

    Looking forward to the new series of Indian idol. It will be interesting to watch the two new judges deal with ANU MALIK. Will keep visiting this site for the latest updates on indian idol. Hope to see some superb talent coming from all over India this season.

    Another thing I would like toadd why this show is not worth is..That Indian voter's..seems they have no taste what so ever of music talents..None of the Idols except SAWANT, deserved to be the idol as better singers were thrown out either in judging round or voted out by public due to ZONALISM/CASTISM..BHAI BHATIJA VAD..it's shame yaar. Some time I feel, it reflect our society what we are in our day to day life. Har jagah jugaad ki sochte hai.. Rule banayenge todenge..kisi aire gaire ko judge banayenge..and ANU..doesn't even allow some time to speak the judges so why the hell they are there.
    more over there is no info on their website whenseason 5 will start, what is the plan for auditions, kids are crazy..searching every where about the auditions date..again those who have JUGGAD would reach the auditions and real talent will stay home still looking in websites.

    Singers aside, the judges try to become some kinds of idols (except Javed Saab) in the show..ass*&^%$!

    Bring Rehman, and a good singer and a choreographer, if needed and then stop the drama (or edit it)

    Most of your reasons can pretty much apply to all reality shows. Most reality shows attracts an endless amount of people especially, if it is in a country that is ranked 2nd in population; most also have one judge that people just can't stand a.k.a "the bad guy" and one judge that it the oddball (Sonali you claim in this case).

    The point that I am trying to make is that your "5 reasons why I hate Indian Idol" is not unique to the show. I am also guessing that you hate reality t.v. since this list gives that exact vibe.

    argeed 100%.....Anu malik is a moron of highest order! he screwed up in Indian idol now he's actin like shit i "Entertainment ke liye...", I mean he is a Dick. Someone needs to remind him that he aint a celeb he doesnt even have a bit of self respect, keeps ruining his image always. What does he think of himself, crazy bullshit!!

    OMG!! I'm so happy to know I am not the only one who feels this way... coz this show is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE.. just way to bizzare.. I really hope it doesn't return again but if it does then i hope they have decent singers and judges.

  • Finally I found someone who also hates "Indian Idol" just as me. This show really sucks. Judges have no functionality in the show why the hell they are there.
