At some point or the other we’re all big fans of the wild American West! The movies have inspired me all the time. Somehow I really missed it on my gaming console. Rockstar, famous for it’s Grand Theft series, has finally pulled the trigger on a really awesome game that took me by surprise. Red Dead Redemption is for everyone who is a big fan of the American West. Or am I too American by now to say something like this…well anyways.

Split Second is an exciting arcade racing game developed by Black Rock Studio(creators of  the off-road racer, PURE). It packs in the best of environments and graphics with some fine background score. The game is set within a reality television show(something reminds me of the Jason Statham movie, Death Race, only here prisoners are not forced to kill each other!). You can compete in a variety of game modes, single player, online and LAN as well as split/screen play, which I think is cool given not many racing games offer that today.
