Sex and the City
It’s finally here in Chandigarh! I’ve been waiting for this to arrive all summer. Finally when vacations are just about to end, it has arrived. Although I am not a regular with the show I’m still hoping the movie could do better. I know the reviews haven’t been really good enough but I don’t read reviews before going to movies. I’d rather write my own, after watching the movie. I’ve already booked my tickets online. Also I’ll be getting a chance to finally check out the new PVR Cinemas at Centra Mall. I’ve heard the mall isn’t worth it but PVR is worth a check out!
Mission Istaanbul
Vivek Oberoi, Shriya Saran, Sunil Shetty and Zayed Khan in a film by Apoorva Lakhiya. All big red reasons to sway away from the movie. Mission Istaanbul is an action thriller. The film features Abhishek Bachchan in a special appearance. So the only few people who end up watching this flick would be Abhishek fans. Jammu and Kashmir politician Omar Abdullah also appears in the movie. There you go! He and his family would also watch the flick. And so will his party supporters. The music hasn’t done any good to the movie either. Another of those made-just-for-the-heck kind of Bollywood movies. Someone please tell me, where the hell is Istaanbul?!
Money Hai Toh Honey Hai
Govinda really feels he made a mistake joining politics. He isn’t getting anywhere in either of the fields. So now he signs up for every movie that comes his way. Money Hai Toh Honey Hai stars Govinda, Aftab Shivdasani, Upen Patel,Hansika Motwani, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitley in the lead roles. The film claims to be a comedy. I predict it to be a disaster. Why do they even come up with movies like this? Stay away from this movie if you don’t want a worthless stupid comedy. Just stay away anyway. I have a few friends who were die hard Govinda fans. They don’t watch any movies these days. Not even Govinda movies. Govinda if you’re reading this, quit dude. Quit movies and quit politics. We’re happy watching your trademark No. 1 flicks on DVDs. We cannot spend multiplex moolah on your movies. Start a blog or something.
Made of Honor
Here comes another comedy. Gosh! Is it raining comedy or what? Made of Honor is directed by Paul Weiland and written by Adam Sztykiel. The film stars Patrick Dempsey and Michelle Monaghan in lead roles. It seems to be more on the lines of My Best Friend’s Wedding. The film turned out to be a disaster in the US. The timings didn’t suit otherwise I could have checked this one out too. I saw the promo of this movie during the screening of The Dark Knight.
