buy nexus one in india

Seems like you can get your hands on the Google Nexus S smartphone in India soon, unofficially of course. Google’s next Android based device is available for a pre-order on Ebay India. The seller is based in India and is promising delivery of the Nexus S by 1 January 2011. The listing seems genuine since the seller does have a 100% feedback on the site. It is currently priced at around Rs. 32,999. Although the seller hasn’t mentioned whether it’ll be the unlocked version, it doesn’t really matter since Google has declared that it will be selling both locked and unlocked versions of the Nexus S.

While US would obviously be the first to get the Nexus S shipped, it is still unclear what Google thinks about selling it’s smartphone in the Indian market. Google had earlier sold it’s Nexus One phone on it’s own online store and later on it was shut down. Apparently Google won’t be selling Nexus S itself this time. Google has partnered with Samsung for Nexus S. Samsung would be taking care of all the pain involved in making and selling the hardware while Google takes care of software and promotions.

So to finally have what they call, ‘A Pure Google Experience’, you’ll still have to wait for an official answer but as of now, in case you have a lot of money in your wallet, you may wanna shell out Rs. 32,999 to pre-order the device. What’s interesting is that the seller has sold two Nexus S devices already. Seems like the demand is going to push up in the near future.

PS: On a personal note the price tag is way too much. I’d suggest you guys wait.
