Google’s Nexus One has generated some buzz on the entire social media scene in the recent one month. Regular leaked specifications, photographs of the Nexus One (aka The Google Phone) and Android 2.1 preview videos on YouTube ensured everyone’s interest in Google’s mobile device. While January 5 2010 has been speculated as the possible launch date for Nexus One, somehow Google seems to have indirectly confirmed these speculations by issuing a press gathering on January 5th. Google is still tight lipped about the agenda of the event. It’s not rocket science to make out, Google will launch Nexus One right ahead of CES. The price is out now!

The full specifications, price details and a possible launch date of Nexus One have finally been revealed online. Google’s really got me craving for Nexus One now. With Nexus One Google has managed to generate so much publicity that only companies such as Apple are able to. There is a growing speculation on the phone’s pricing, availability now that the specifications are clear to everyone. Engadget has pulled out the complete specifications for the Nexus One.

It is still unconfirmed what the official price of Nexus One phone shall be but the folks at Android Guys have reported the phone might be sold by Google for about $199 unlocked in stores. Now that’s a reasonable enough price if Google wants Nexus One to take on Apple’s iPhone. Someone who’s connected to Google has said off the record that Google is planning to sell Nexus One for around Euros 300. However I’ll wait for an official word from Google.
