India’s top car maker Maruti Suzuki has launched it’s new family car Eeco in the Indian market. The multipurpose 5-seater vehicle has been priced at Rs. 2,59,000 for the non-AC model. The company claims it’s engineering have been working for the past three years to come up with Eeco. Eeco boasts of a new powerful engine, better transmission and a large vehicle for the complete family. The engine is 1200cc petrol and the car comes in 5-seater and 7-seater versions. So much for hum do hamaare do? If you ask me, the Maruti Eeco looks like just another Maruti Versa.
Maruti Suzuki will also come up with an electric version of the family car Eeco during the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi during 2010 only.
