Bored with social networking on the go? Now watch streaming TV channels on your laptop or desktop. Tata Inidcom has come up with a live TV streaming service called Tata Photon TV. Photon is presently Tata Indicom’s mobile internet access brand with Photon Plus being a broadband version. Photon TV is not different, it’s simply Photon+ with the ability to watch streaming content. The service currently boasts of a total of 40 channels. Tata claims the list of channels will be updated.

As far as the money is concerned, you’ll have to cough up Rs. 4 per channel per month. You can also go for a combination of 10 channels for Rs. 29 per month or simply take all of them for Rs. 75 per month. Now here comes the catch. You thought Tata Indicom was cool? Well they’re dirty and shrewd. You’ll also be charged for the data transfer that you’ll undergo while watching the live stream. Now even kids know watching a live stream eats up a considerable amount of bandwidth. So if you thought you’ll catch up with the news or watch that cricket match while on the move using Tata Photon TV on your Photon+ device, well it’s going to be a costly affair.

Tata is mad!!
Remember those EGDE based usb devices which had some bug ‘em which gave out huge billing logs. They never agreed of the bug until someone sued them. You don’t even need to boycott these, no one’s buying them.
