picasa 3.5 review

Google’s well known desktop application for handling images in an uber cool manner, Picasa, has just got sexier. Thanks to the all new face recognition features that allow name tagging, Picasa 3.5 is all set to bring sexy back. Based on the similar technology that allows name tags on Picasa Web Albums, Picasa’s desktop application allows you to organize photos based on people. Now there have been such applications in the past but nothing is closer to the package Picasa 3.5 offers.

Do the ‘people’ thing.

With name tags it becomes very easy to organize all your photos especially when you’ve got a huge collection scattered all over your hard drive. So the next time one of your ex calls you up, you simply need to open Picasa and type in her name so you’ll know what you left behind. Once you’ve tagged people you can also make a face collage with a single click. Now that’s cool enough.

An addition there have been some improvements like quickly adding geo-tags, import, upload and share at once and tagging. All this makes Picasa 3.5 a must-have for all. You can directly download Picasa 3.5 from here.

@Ankur: Dude..fotobounce is nothing when you compare it with Picasa…I agree with the concept..but Picasa had this a long ago on it’s web albums.
