Will Smith does it again! After watching The Pursuit of Happyness I became a Gabriele Muccino fan. Muccino has impressed me once again with Seven Pounds. Brilliant screenplay, amazing performances and one awesome movie. Will Smith is right on top. I have tears in my eyes right now. I don’t think I need to describe any further. Go see the movie!

I was one of those disappointed people when Hancock got delayed by a week in India. Will Smith is certainly one of my favourites. So high on expectations that none of those crappy reviews about the movie from the US audience could stop me. There have been Super Hero movies in the past and somehow all of them seem lame to me. Especially after watching Hancock. Is it good? No! It’s super good! It went with my expectations. Hancock is one movie you’ll enjoy throughout the amazing 90 minutes. I think Hancock is a really really cool super hero.
Check this out for a super hero:
[an elderly woman in a bar stares at Hancock after seeing a news story featuring him]
Hancock: Lady, I will break my foot off in your ass!
Pissed Fat Guy: You know? Somebody should sue you!
Hancock: You know what? You should sue McDonalds, cuz they f#$%@*d you up!
Can Superman, Spiderman and party do this? No! They’re more like the well-behaved-types! Will Smith is just brilliant. Charlize Theron surprised me. Jason Bateman was wasted I felt, but when you’re facing Will Smith you will be overshadowed. Will Smith declared that Aishwarya Rai was his first choice for Hancock. I’m happy Aish aunty said no! With a fake accent and that kind of a role, she would have spoilt the whole thing Will. On the whole, it is a must watch. And don’t get up too early when the credits roll in the end. There’s a small scene in the middle of the credits. Enjoy the movie!
