Bohemia’s Next Album Da Rap Star

by Harry on March 23, 2009

Punjabi rapper Bohemia’s next album is titled Da Rap Star and it’s coming out in stores 9th April. Bohemia has been recently involved with several Bollywood projects including two with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar. Bohemia also made a stage appearance during Akshay’s high profile concert in Hong Kong earlier last year. Bohemia’s latest album Da Rap Star is being released by Universal Music in India.
This will be Bohemia’s much awaited next album after Pesa Nasha Pyar. He’s one of my favorite Punjabi rappers around.

Check out intros of some of his tracks from the forthcoming album below. Sounds good to me. Desperately waiting for the album.

Music Review: Delhi-6

delhi 6 music review

Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is will strike back in Bollywood with Delhi-6 after his blockbuster flick Rang De Basanti took a nation by surprise. Delhi-6 (earlier titled Dilli 6) will star Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Om Puri in the lead roles. The music has been composed by A.R Rahman. The lyrics have been penned down by Prasoon Joshi. Currently a song from the soundtrack titled Masakalli is running in the promos on national television. According to me A.R Rahman had a hard time creating some fine music in 2008 with some major disappointments. Delhi-6 is Rahman’s first Bollywood soundtrack in 2009. Let’s hope this one turns out good. Read on for the music review of Delhi-6.

Exclusive Music Review: Dev D

December 29, 2008

I think Anurag Kashyap is a brilliant film maker and I also think that Abhay Deol has risen from the ashes. So when both the A’s come together on a brilliant little concept of modern day version of the epic Devdas it’s not surprising that the hype surrounding the project would be maximum. After watching [...]

Music Review: Yuvvraaj

October 15, 2008

Subhash Ghai is one guy who knows how important music is for a Bollywood movie. He makes a good effort to ensure quality to the last bit. His soundtracks sell better than his films sometimes. Remember Taal? A.R Rahman’s music topped the charts for a really long time and the film blew up at the [...]
