   Batman doesn’t suck, you idiot. Bale was only overshadowed due to Ledger’s death. Bale is the single best on-screen Batman of all time. What the hell do you know anyhow? This is your first Batman film? Bale deserves just as much credit as Ledger, both were phenomenal in this. Batman, most assuredly, does not suck. Why don’t you leave the Batman films to Batman fans? Jerk.

   About this post, while I agree with Ryan and Anna that Bale is the best Batman ever, I do agree with you that he was totally overshadowed by Heath Ledger’s Joker portrayal. Ledger’s Joker is mean, a psycho and what’s best is that he is so damn real (reminded me of a glorified version of Osama with the videos being showed to scare the people).

   Having said that, it’s the writing that has totally taken this kind of cinema / characters into a whole new level. Brilliant!

   i agree with you, bale sucked as batman. his voice was retarded. he sounds like he’s out of breath constantly and his costume was lame looking. it bugged me a lot. the movie was really good overall and it does deserve it’s hype, but the reason why everyone is super crazy about it is cuz heath ledger died. i mean, he was an amazing joker, flawless and awesome. he played the joker so good, i freaken love him, but batman… not so much. he was fine being bruce, but when in batman, he kind of lack something. you know, even if ledger didn’t die, everyone will notice that bale wasn’t that great of a batman. for the most part, the joker made the movie good.

   the new batman suck joker sucks and its not even coparable to the first batman bale is horrible. jack nickleson is the king and the best joker ever i dont know y i thought this one was going to be better than the first instead i think it was worst its safe to say thats the last time ill fall for that joke of a movie 300 thumbs down. and any one who thinks otherwise needs to rexamine thier life and their self being

   no doubt about it, michael keaton’s first batman is the best by far and the joker as played by jack nicholson well…..how could we compare nicholson to ledger?

   now, batman begins was a very good movie and bale did a terrific job on it but this time around they went over the top with the voice and the movie was just too long. I find the use of two-face a waste.

   one thing, people talk about how great ledger was on this movie but the make up reminds me of brandon lee in the crow and he looked better on it. sorry, no disrespect for ledger but I think there was too much hype because of his untimely death.

   we’ll see if they redeem themselves in the next installment but for this one…..two thumbs down.

    yes there was sympathy for Heath Ledger but that should not take anything away from his performance as the Joker in this Batman movie.It is worthy of an Oscar.
    And yes Bale was overshadowed as the Batman but that was soley on account of how well Ledger has acted as the Joker.Btw Bale was much better i the previous edition of the Batman
    And all you Nicholson lovers grow up and learn to appreciate good performances from actors whom you dont expect to act well.Pls for Gods ake dont be biased either in someones favour or against someone.

    ok you guys have to understand something. the original batman films were based more on the old films while the new one is based on the old comic books, some people dont like the new batman just like i dont like the old batman, my opinion, everyone has thier opinion. just because you dont agree with someone doesnt mean you should try and make him believe in you opinion, oh and harry i think you need more information on why you think the new batman sucks just so people know why you hate him. example, i hate the old batman because it felt more like a cheap joke to me, it was ok but felt real lame
