++ Kissing in a classroom is highly dangerous to you and your partner’s reputation. Don’t think no one cares or no one is watching. When you’re in a classroom someone is always watching. Even when you think you’re alone. Basic laws of college.
++ It will always go wrong no matter what. You might be Mr. Hot Shot or a Paris Hilton of your college but you just won’t get things right. You might end up biting each other’s nose.

Seems like I’m gonna have a tough time to decide between Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Xbox 360 slim! At a recent event in New Delhi, Microsoft has clarified that the rumors surrounding the launch of Xbox 360 Slim were indeed true. Microsoft is expected to officially come out with an announcement later in December. The new Xbox 360 will include a 45nm Valhalla combined CPU / GPU motherboard design in a slim case. It is however uncertain whether it will start shipping early next year but it could make up for a great Christmas or New Year present especially with the release of Fallout 3, Fable 2 and Gears of War 2 in India. That’s a good one week before the official worldwide launch. Microsoft also announced a special Xbox 360 deal for Indian gamers which includes an Xbox 360 Core console, a 20 GB HDD, one wireless controller and free copies of Viva Pinata and Forza 2 for Rs. 14,999.
With Nintendo Wii just around the corner, I am confused between Microsoft Xbox 360 and Nintendo Wii. Any advice?

++ Our country is full of wanna be singers. We can run out of petrol, LPG, electricity and cry all the time about rising inflation but we can never run out of singers. It’s been three seasons already and lakhs if not thousands of people have tried their luck at singing. Most of them have been rejected and we still see thousands in the queue for auditions.
++ We all love to hate Anu Malik. This guy is a jackass! I really feel he’s trying to copy Simon Cowell and he keeps on getting worse every season. Why the heck is he on TV anyways? He’s a shit load of a music composer. Why can’t Sony afford A.R Rahman?

I came across this new service from Tata Indicom called CyberPass while paying my bill for a post-paid mobile connection. That’s because they can screw post-paid subscribers with billing. CyberPass is a value added service exclusively for Tata Indicom wireless post-paid subscribers. It’s an array of value added services powered by Tata Communications. Existing Tata Indicom post-paid subscribers can register for CyberPass service easily here.
The most striking feature I noticed was that it allows users to access Tata’s dial-up internet access, broadband internet access and Wi-Fi internet access across the country. Very intelligent and useful indeed for someone like me! You can use their dial-up internet access across the country, you just need to plug-in a telephone cable. For broadband access you just need a pre-installed broadband connection, like a friend or a relative’s place. Wi-Fi is the most useful feature. Though it’s coming soon, as per Tata, the service would disable registering and buying packages.

Enable Pipelining
Your browser talks to the web servers very politely. Obviously you don’t want that since that directly affects your browsing speed. You want the browser to be a mean machine. When you enable pipelining your browser does exactly that. It sends multiple requests before any responses are received. To enable this type about:config in the address bar, double-click network.http.pipelining and network.http.proxy.pipelining so their values are set to true, then double-click network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set this to 8.
Load Quick
Some websites take ages to load on your browser. Mozilla Firefox doesn’t like to keep you waiting so it displays what all it has loaded every 0.12 seconds. While this thing sounds cool to the browser, it’s not cool for the user. Frequent re-draws of the web page can lead to poor browsing experience. So a longer time makes sense. Type about:config and press [Enter], then right-click in the window and select New > Integer. Type content.notify.interval as your preference name, click OK, enter 500000 (that’s five hundred thousand, not fifty thousand) and click OK again. Right-click again in the window and select New > Boolean. This time create a value called content.notify.ontimer and set it to True to finish the job.
